What is Disciplying
Disciplying is a Christian discipleship platform built so you grow with someone alongside you, with ordered content and a person who is accountable for you — and so that, when you finish, you can do the same for someone else.
Where the name comes from
Disciplying joins two words: discipling and multiplying.
It is not wordplay. It is a conviction: the discipleship Jesus modeled points toward multiplication. A disciple who has been formed is not a container, but a bridge.
That is also why we call the person walking alongside you a disciplyer rather than a discipler. It is a new word, and we know it sounds strange at first. We use it on purpose, because it names something the ordinary word does not quite say: I am not only teaching you, I am teaching you so that you will multiply.
In Spanish we do the same: the platform is Disciplicando and the person is a disciplicador.
The three pillars
The discipleship Jesus practiced rests on three columns. When one is missing, discipleship is incomplete.
Relationship — Walking with Jesus.
It begins with knowing Him, not with knowing about Him. Jesus did not open a classroom; He called twelve to walk with Him. “Come and see” (John 1:39). This is why the platform does not replace relationship — it organizes it. There is always a person on the other side.
Instruction — Learning from Jesus.
Relationship without truth is sentiment. The disciples sat at the Master's feet, and He “was teaching them like one who had authority” (Matthew 7:29). This is why the content is structured and theologically careful, not loose opinion.
Multiplication — Sharing Jesus.
Jesus said, “As the Father has sent me, I also send you” (John 20:21). Fruit is the mark of a transformed life: “My Father is glorified by this: that you produce much fruit” (John 15:8). A disciple's formation is not finished while he is not yet ready to walk alongside someone else.
What the platform includes
Lesson series. Each lesson combines video, podcast, Bible study and a quiz. The Bible study is completed inside the app and saved there.
Real accompaniment. Your disciplyer sees each disciple's progress and approves the move to the next lesson after a conversation. Conversation guides are provided for that talk.
Study tools. Biblical text, passage analyzer and Bible dictionary, available inside the platform. These are reference aids — a modern concordance — not a substitute for the work of the Holy Spirit or for your own reading of Scripture. Interpretation remains your responsibility and your church's.
Offline. Material downloads to your device and is studied without a signal. Once downloaded, the app uses the saved copy even when you are connected.
Certificates. On completing a series, and on being promoted to disciplyer. These are not diplomas to hang on a wall: they are recognition, and a call to serve.
Discipleship network. A pastor or leader can see how the chain is growing: who is walking with whom, who is moving forward and who has stalled.
